Packed full of famous songs, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific has been an enduring favourite since it first premiered in 1949. An instant hit, which became the second longest running Broadway show at the time, South Pacific won ten Tony awards including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Libretto. It also won a Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Set on a South Pacific Island during World War II, South Pacific has a love story at its core, interwoven around other plot lines, and the brilliant score contains several of the best known songs in the repertoire including: “Some Enchanted Evening”, “There is Nothing Like a Dame”, “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair”, “Happy Talk”, “Younger than Springtime”, “Bali Hai” and “I’m in Love with a Wonderful Guy”.
Be transported by LAOS to the warm and balmy South Pacific island and enjoy their production of one of the best-loved gems of the musical theatre repertoire.
